Name: Timo Weiland
Profession: Fashion Designer
Working on this project with David has been a culmination of nearly a decade of friendship and creative collaboration. It has also been inspiring to work side-by-side with another mother/son team,” said creative director, Weiland. “My mother Allison has been a part of our story since the beginning and we have always related to David and the Marianella story in that very personal, familial way. 'Keeping it in the family' is something that we have aimed to do with this beautiful line of handmade soaps.
"It was such a pleasure working with the Timo Weiland brand. Timo and I have been friends for several years and to be able to collaborate and combine both of our companies this way was a real treat,” said co-founder, Foote. “Timo's designs have always inspired me I love how he plays with masculine silhouettes and concepts and applies them to women's wear, in a way that resonates very much with your packaging aesthetic of masculine pharmaceutical versus delicate and luxury. This limited edition collection gave us the liberty to design wrappers that were much louder and unique than you would usually go with luxury bath and body. It is definitely something that I want to carry on with Marianella soap, since my background is in fashion illustration I love the idea of pairing up a fashion designer and their vision with ours, the combination of ideas really sparks something unique. - David Foote Jaboneria Marianella Creative Director / Co-Founder"
